Paul
R. Gienger
President
Mr. Gienger has been with Topa Management Company since 1977
and has developed, leased, financed and managed both multi-family
residential and commercial properties. Paul is a licensed
broker in the State of California and the State of Hawaii
and a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association
(BOMA).
Carol T. Shain
Vice President
Carol Shain has been with Topa Management Company for more
than 30 years offering skillful representation to both company
owned and client owned property. Carol is a member of the
International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Gary Clopp
Vice President
Mr. Clopp is the current past President of the Affordable
Housing Management Association (AHMA) - Pacific Southwest,
which covers Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada. This
position puts him in direct daily contact with the National
Affordable Housing Management Association based near Washington,
D.C. and places Topa Management Company on the cutting edge
of federal, state, and local legislative and regulatory changes
and updates in the housing industry. Most recently Mr. Clopp
was awarded the Clive Graham Award for lifetime achievement
of excellence in the Affordable Housing Industry from the
Affordable Housing Management Association-Pacific Southwest
(AHMA-PSW).
Robin N. Platt
Vice President
Robin Platt is recognized as one of Ventura County's leading
commercial real estate professionals. Robin has over 20 years
of commercial real estate leasing and operations experience.
Robin is a founding officer and member of BOMA Tri-Counties
and is also a member of BOMA Los Angeles. She holds an MBA
in Marketing & Finance from California State University
Northridge and is a Board of Director for the Economic
Development Corporation of Oxnard and St. John's Regional
Medical Center Foundation. Robin has received
numerous awards acknowledging excellence in Property Management
and is currently pursuing her Certified Commercial Investment
Member (CCIM) designation.
Darren Bell
Vice President & Director
of Leasing
Darren Bell has over 18
years of experience in commercial real estate leasing,
investment, management and development and is Topa's
leasing specialist in the Los Angeles region. He has
negotiated and consummated over 1,000 commercial lease
transactions throughout his career.
Since joining Topa
in 2002, he has been responsible for the execution of
over $300 million in lease transactions representing
over 1.2 million square feet. He holds an MBA in
finance from the University of Southern California and a
BS in economics from the University of Santa Clara.
Darren is a member of the Los Angeles Commercial Real
Estate Association (LACRA) and the International Council
of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Curt Nakamura
General Manager
Curt Nakamura has over 15 years of real estate experience
in the Oahu market. A graduate of the University of Washington
in Seattle, he has worked extensively in the financial and
real estate markets in both Hawaii and Washington State. Mr.
Nakamura is the General Manager of the Topa
Financial Center located in Downtown Honolulu.
Mr. Nakamura has been a major factor in the overall improvement
of the relationship between the landlord and tenants.
Stephanie Silvia
Director
Stephanie Silvia is a seasoned housing professional and is
responsible for regulatory and fair housing compliance in
the field. Stephanie has over 20 years of experience in both conventional
and affordable housing, dealing with HUD, CHFA, Public Housing
Authorities, the Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) and
other regulatory agencies. She is a recognized expert on
various Federal and State housing programs occupancy
requirements and trains our property supervisors and on-site
managers in these areas - as well as fair housing compliance.
Stephanie Silvia is a Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO)
and a Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM).
Brad Gienger
Senior Property Manager
Brad Gienger has been with Topa for over 8 years and is responsible
for the overall operations of 1800
and 1900
Avenue of the Stars, two Class A buildings located in Century
City totaling nearly 1,000,000 square feet. Brad is a member
of (BOMA) Building Owners and Managers Association and has
served on the Board of Directors for the Century City Chamber
of Commerce for the past 3 years. He was the recipient of
the Local B.O.M.A. Building of the Year Award in 2002 in the
500,000 - 1,000,000 square feet category for 1900 Avenue of
the Stars recognizing superior design, operation and management
of buildings.
Dean Christian
Senior Property Manager
Dean Christian is responsible for overall operations of the
Topa
Financial Plaza in Oxnard totaling over 580,000
square feet, consisting of two Class A High Rise Office buildings
and ten low rise or stand alone buildings. Off-site management
includes a marina with 450 boat slips. Dean is an experienced broker and property manager serving
the Los Angeles and Ventura County areas for the past 18 years.
He has managed over $530 million of real estate and was the
recipient of the Local, Regional and International B.O.M.A.
Building of the Year Awards for Sanwa Bank Plaza/Figueroa
at Wilshire. Dean serves on the Board of Directors for the
United Way - Ventura County.
Kelly Hagar
Assistant Property
Manager
Kelly Hagar is responsible for the portfolio of
properties Topa manages in the Westlake Village,
Thousand Oaks, Moorpark and Woodland Hills area totaling
approximately 440,250 square feet of office and retail
space. In the four years prior to joining Topa,
Kelly was the Assistant Manager of a portfolio that
consisted of retail property, a Class-A, mid-rise, and a campus-style, commercial office
project totaling 420,000 square feet in Ventura/Oxnard. Kelly is
pursuing her California Real Estate License and is also
working towards receiving her RPA from BOMA.
Lali Haniffa
Controller
Lali Haniffa has been with Topa Management Company for over
15 years. Lali is a CPA and member of the Chartered Association
of Certified Accountants (CACA).
